Comprehensive Restoration
"Procrastinate" was completely disassembled, down to the frame. Each part was thoroughly cleaned, prepped and painted with high quality House of Kolor paints. This Retro styled Cafe Racer is fast, sounds killer and the highly detailed finishing touches will make it a hit at the local Bike night!
Multi Layered, Blood Red Kandy Paint
15 coats of paint Was used to achieve this Ultra Deep, highly reflective paint color. Different color red and light red pearls were added to the top coat for even more pop!
Mechanically sound
The 900 CC 4 cyl engine has excellent compression across each cylinder. The valve clearances are set, and the oil is fresh. A perfectly synchronized, restored bank of carburetors, supplies the fuel, and the new matching red plug wires, NGK Plug Caps and NGK plugs, light the fire! This engine sounds SO SWEET through the period correct, equal length headers and new Slash cut mufflers. Topped off by New Avon tires, and re-conditioned brakes, front and rear.
Custom "2" up Cafe seat
This "Cafe Racer" is versatile. The seat, styled as a "Cafe" hump, allows for fun for two! The lower seat trim (tail light) is a custom piece, bolted to the frame, and equipped with an ultra bright LED Taillight strip. The headlight is also a 6500K LED. Sitting in front of an OEM triple tree, with slide over fork tube bars, with Dury grips!
The little details matter
Look closely.. all the black on the bike is covered by a beautiful red pearl, adding the perfect touch to the package. A painted to match, Venom Digital gauge, keeps tabs on speed and RPMS, with an easy to see and read digital display.

Complete dis-assembly
This bike was completely tore down into pieces for a complete and detailed restoration with a high quality result. Most wear items replaced with new parts and engine maintained and tuned with OEM maintenance procedures.

I want my restorations to to surpass the OEM finishes and quality. The use of House of Kolor finishes assured this bike had the same colors, but the metallic and clear coat depth turns this little bike into a true showpiece.

Complete Resto Restoration
Complete Tear down to frame. All parts cleaned and refinished a Stunning Deep Purple Candy with layers of Blue and Violet pearls layered in Multiple, hand sanded coats of Acrylic urethane Clear coat.. it truly has to be seen in person. The frame and engine is Jet Black with a Violet Pearl clear. The paint is highly radiant and shifts colors with the light it is STUNNING! Factory Headers to retain the AWESOME 4 into 4 Exhaust with custom angled, slash cut 3' baffles. It has a nice sporty inline 4 tone. KLX Bars provided a perfect bar height with a 1 " riser, and the Modern CBR Brake Master Cylinder clears the fairing by Millimeters.

Full appearance restoration
Fabrication of rear seat section to a Bobber style. Retaining the factory rear fender and artwork hand painted on the tank front and rear fenders by Doug's friend ,in 1990, that passed away.
Complete comprehensive motorcycle refinishing
The entire motorcycle was disassembled after fabrication for complete refinishing. All frame and engine, but not limited to those pieces were sprayed with All House of Color products. Jet Black adorns the pieces, and followed up by a multi layered inter-coat clear with harvest pearl colors. The artwork existing was flattened, blended into new bodywork and highlighted with red and gold pearls. 4 coats of clear were added for depth and flatness over the existing hand painted art.
Rear seat and fender
Factory OEM fender was shortened. Metal was cut and added to "wrap" it under the seat. The rear is a one piece unit now, that contains the seat, fender and turn signals into one. It removes easily, with 4 bolts and one harness. The seat was also recessed into the fender for the correct line and fit. No seat springs were need as the factory soft tail springs were retained for the smooth ride.
Modern LED lighting
Replaced taillight with a nice LED unit on a custom fabricated mount including Taillight and Licence plate light. Red LED strip lighting lights up the beautiful engine and carburetor.
